ARMA (Association of Records Managers and Administrators International) is a not-for-profit professional association and the authority on managing records and information. The association was established in 1955. NAID Canada is a chapter of the National Association for Information Destruction (NAID) in the United States, as such they are a national association representing companies that specialize in secure information and document destruction. NAID's mission is to raise awareness and understanding of secure information and document destruction, ensuring that private personal and business information is not used for purposes other than originally intended. NAID plays an active role in the development and implementation of industry standards and certification. They provide a range of member services which include advocacy, communication, education and professional development.
